# Alejandro Altuna

**Alejandro Altuna** (born 19 January 1992) is an Argentine professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [midfielder](/source/Midfielder) for [Sport Boys](/source/Sport_Boys).[1]

## Career

Altuna joined [Sportivo Patria](/source/Sportivo_Patria) following a spell with [Belgrano](/source/Club_Atl%C3%A9tico_Belgrano).[2] He scored one goal in eight games during the [2014 Torneo Federal A](/source/2014_Torneo_Federal_A), which preceded his departure in January 2015 to [Deportivo Madryn](/source/Deportivo_Madryn).[1][3] His debut against [Ferro Carril Oeste](/source/Ferro_Carril_Oeste_de_General_Pico) on 22 March 2015 was the first of twenty-six appearances for the club.[1] Altuna was on the move again after agreeing to join [Flandria](/source/CSD_Flandria) of [Primera B Metropolitana](/source/Primera_B_Metropolitana) in 2016.[1] They were promoted in his first season, in which he featured nineteen times whilst netting once.[1] On 11 August 2017, Altuna joined fellow [Primera B Nacional](/source/Primera_Nacional) team [San Martín](/source/San_Mart%C3%ADn_de_Tucum%C3%A1n); who also won promotion in his opening campaign.[1][4]

Altuna was released by Quilmes in June 2020.[5]
