Angulo played with his local club [Zaragoza](/source/CB_Zaragoza), and with them, he won the [Spanish Cup](/source/Spanish_Basketball_King's_Cup) in 1990. He also played with [Real Madrid](/source/Real_Madrid_Baloncesto) and [Lleida](/source/CE_Lleida_B%C3%A0squet). With [Real Madrid](/source/Real_Madrid_Baloncesto), he won the [FIBA Saporta Cup](/source/FIBA_Saporta_Cup) championship in 1997, and the [Spanish League](/source/Liga_ACB) championship in 2000, being the league's [Finals MVP](/source/ACB_Finals_Most_Valuable_Player_Award) in the process.
