**Alan Arthur Rayson** (26 October 1924 – 25 February 1982)[1] was an [Australian rules footballer](/source/Australian_rules_football) who played for the [Carlton Football Club](/source/Carlton_Football_Club) and [Geelong Football Club](/source/Geelong_Football_Club) in the [Victorian Football League](/source/Australian_Football_League) (VFL).[2]

Rayson's football career was interrupted by his service in the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II.[3]
