**Alan G. "Al" Kerr** (born March 28, 1964) is a Canadian former professional [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) [forward](/source/Forward_(ice_hockey)). He is currently the head coach and general manager of the [Alberni Valley Bulldogs](/source/Alberni_Valley_Bulldogs) [BCHL](/source/BCHL) team.

Kerr started his [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League) career with the [New York Islanders](/source/New_York_Islanders) in [1984](/source/1984%E2%80%9385_NHL_season). He also played for the [Detroit Red Wings](/source/Detroit_Red_Wings) and [Winnipeg Jets](/source/Winnipeg_Jets_(1972%E2%80%9396)). He left the NHL after the [1993](/source/1992%E2%80%9393_NHL_season) season.
