**Almando Cresso**, better known by his stage names **Al Cres** and **Don Wolfe**, is an American songwriter and record producer who contributed to [Beyoncé](/source/Beyonc%C3%A9) album *[Renaissance](/source/Renaissance_(Beyonc%C3%A9_album))*, co-writing "[Energy](/source/Energy_(Beyonc%C3%A9_song))", as well as various [Beam](/source/Beam_(hip-hop_musician)) projects, albums from gospel artist [Trip Lee](/source/Trip_Lee), and [DJ Khaled](/source/DJ_Khaled) album *[Khaled Khaled](/source/Khaled_Khaled)*.[1]

## Career

### Musical beginnings

Cresso, a native Floridian, was recruited in 2019 by rapper-producer Beam to join a Miami recording camp for his major-label debut EP *95* on [Epic Records](/source/Epic_Records), forming a prolonged working relationship.[2] Cresso has since appeared on subsequent Beam projects *Crimson Soundtrack* and debut album *[Alien](/source/Alien_(Beam_album))*.
