**Al-Seeb Club** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): نادي السيب; also known as *The Emperor*, "Master of the Clubs", **Al-Seeb** or **Seeb Club**) is an [Omani](/source/Football_in_Oman) professional [football](/source/Association_football) club based in [Al-Seeb](/source/Seeb),[1] that competes in the [Oman Professional League](/source/Oman_Professional_League), the top flight of [Omani football](/source/Oman_Football_Association). Their home ground is [Al-Seeb Stadium](/source/Al-Seeb_Stadium). In 2022, they achieved a [treble](/source/The_Treble), winning the [Omani League](/source/Omani_League), the [Sultan Qaboos Cup](/source/Sultan_Qaboos_Cup) and the [AFC Cup](/source/AFC_Cup).

## History

Al-Seeb Club was founded on 3 January 1972 after merging four different smaller teams (Watan, Butolah, Hilal and Fida) in [Al-Seeb](/source/Seeb) area.[2] The club was officially registered on 26 June 2002. [Shihab bin Tariq Al Said](/source/Shihab_bin_Tariq_Al_Said) has been the leader and chairman of Al-Seeb since 1982. He joined the club in 1975, playing for the [volleyball](/source/Volleyball) team.
