**Al-Orobah FC** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): نادي العروبة لكرة القدم, [romanized](/source/Romanization_of_Arabic): *nādī al-oroubah li-kūrāt ae-qādam*, [lit.](/source/Literal_translation) '[Arabism](/source/Pan-Arabism) Football Club') is a [Saudi Arabian](/source/Saudi_Arabia) professional [football](/source/Association_football) club based in [Sakakah](/source/Sakakah), that will compete in the [Saudi First Division](/source/Saudi_First_Division_League).

## History

They won the [2012–13 Saudi First Division](/source/2012%E2%80%9313_Saudi_First_Division) and were promoted to the [Saudi Pro League](/source/Saudi_Pro_League), the top level of [Saudi Arabian football](/source/Football_in_Saudi_Arabia) for the first time in their history.

Al-Orobah achieved a milestone by earning promotion to the Saudi Pro League in the 2013–14 season, marking its first appearance in the top tier of Saudi football.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

On 18 March 2025, Al-Orobah were subject to a ban on registration of new players by [FIFA](/source/FIFA) after they were found to have not paid $150,000 of transfer fees and 5% interest that were owed to Welsh club [The New Saints](/source/The_New_Saints_F.C.) after the transfer of [Brad Young](/source/Brad_Young_(footballer%2C_born_2003)).[1][2]
