'''Akhini''' ({{langx|az|Axını}}, {{langx|fa|آخینی}}) is a neighbourhood of [Tabriz](/source/Tabriz), the largest city in [Iranian Azerbaijan](/source/Azerbaijan_(Iran)).

Akhini is located in the northwest of Tabriz. It was originally a village near Tabriz with large farms and gardens. Due to the expansion of the city within last decades, all of Akhini's farms and gardens were the victims of the [settlement](/source/Human_settlement)s and change of [land use](/source/land_use) and Akhini became a part of Tabriz. [Hokmavar](/source/Hokmavar), [Sham Qazan](/source/Shanb_Ghazan), [Jamshidabad](/source/Jamshidabad_(Tabriz)) and [Qara Agaj](/source/Qara_Agaj_(Tabriz)) are the neighbour districts of Akhini.
