== Geography ==
Akbet rises in the [Bayanaul Range](/source/Bayanaul_Range), a subrange of the [Kazakh Uplands](/source/Kazakh_Uplands) (Saryarka). The mountain has generally gentle slopes, but rocky and strongly dissected on the western side, where there is a gorge with springs. 
With an elevation {{convert|1022|m|ft|0}}, it is the highest mountain in the [Bayanaul Range](/source/Bayanaul_Range), as well as the highest point of [Pavlodar Region](/source/Pavlodar_Region).<ref name="KЕ">''Kazakhstan National Encyclopedia'' / Ch. ed.
