# Akash Antil

**Akash Antil** (born 1991) is an Indian [track and field](/source/Track_and_field) athlete competing in the [discus throw](/source/Discus_throw). He won the [silver medal](/source/Silver_medal) at the 2007 [South Asian Junior Athletics Championships](/source/South_Asian_Junior_Athletics_Championships).[1] He failed a doping test at the 2010 [Indian National Games](/source/Indian_National_Games) and was banned from competition.[2]
