# Ajay, Iran

**Ajay** (Persian: اجاي, also [Romanized](/source/Romanize) as **Ājāy**)[1] is a village in [Bastam Rural District](/source/Bastam_Rural_District), in the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Chaypareh_County)) of [Chaypareh County](/source/Chaypareh_County), [West Azerbaijan Province](/source/West_Azerbaijan_Province), [Iran](/source/Iran). At the 2006 census, its population was 83, in 20 families.[2]
