**Ahd Bloc** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): كتلة العهد) was a joint list of [Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine](/source/Democratic_Front_for_the_Liberation_of_Palestine), [Palestinian Popular Struggle Front](/source/Palestinian_Popular_Struggle_Front), [Arab Liberation Front](/source/Arab_Liberation_Front) and independents for the May 2005 municipal elections in [Bethlehem](/source/Bethlehem), the [West Bank](/source/West_Bank). In total, the Bloc presented 9 candidates (5 Christians and 4 Muslims). The top candidate of the Bloc was Dr. [Peter Qumri](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Peter_Qumri&action=edit&redlink=1), director of [Beit Jala](/source/Beit_Jala) Hospital.[1][2]
