**Adriaan Johannes Badenhorst** (born 18 July 1978) is a South African former [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) player.[1]

## Playing career

Badenhorst matriculated in [Prieska](/source/Prieska) and in 1997 enrolled at [Stellenbosch University](/source/Stellenbosch_University). He played for the university's under 19 and under 20 teams and in 1997 was selected for the [Western Province](/source/Stormers) senior team. He was a member of the Western Province team that won the [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup) in [2000](/source/2000_Currie_Cup). Badenhorst played more than 50 matches for Western Province and the [Stormers](/source/Stormers) and in 2006 he signed for [Agen](/source/SU_Agen_Lot-et-Garonne).[2][3]

Badenhorst toured with the [Springboks](/source/Springboks) to Argentina, Britain and Ireland in [2000](/source/2000_South_Africa_rugby_union_tour_of_Argentina%2C_Britain_and_Ireland) and played in one tour match. In 2001 Badenhorst toured with the [South Africa 'A'](/source/South_Africa_A_national_rugby_union_team) team [to Europe](/source/2001_South_Africa_rugby_union_tour_of_Europe_and_the_United_States#"A"_team_tour).[4]
