***Adelpha eulalia***, the **Arizona sister**, is a [species](/source/Species) of [butterfly](/source/Butterfly) in the [family](/source/Family_(taxonomy)) [Nymphalidae](/source/Nymphalidae). It occurs from at least [Guatemala](/source/Guatemala) and [Mexico](/source/Mexico) to the southwestern United States, including southeastern [California](/source/California), [Arizona](/source/Arizona), [New Mexico](/source/New_Mexico), and southern [Texas](/source/Texas). They can also sometimes be found in [Oklahoma](/source/Oklahoma), [Kansas](/source/Kansas), [Colorado](/source/Colorado), [Utah](/source/Utah), and [Nevada](/source/Nevada).

*Adelpha eulalia* belongs to the *serpa* species group in the [genus](/source/Genus) *[Adelpha](/source/Adelpha)* (sisters). It was previously treated as a [subspecies](/source/Subspecies) of Bredow's sister (*[Adelpha bredowii](/source/Adelpha_bredowii)*). Recent [phylogenetic](/source/Phylogenetic) studies, however, conclude that morphological, geographical, and genetic evidence make it clear that it is a separate species.[1]
