'''Adelaide Ravens''' were an [Australian netball](/source/netball_in_Australia) team that, together with [Adelaide Thunderbirds](/source/Adelaide_Thunderbirds), represented [Netball South Australia](/source/Netball_South_Australia) in the [Commonwealth Bank Trophy](/source/Commonwealth_Bank_Trophy) league. In 1997 Ravens were founder members of the league. In 1999 they were grand finalists. They continued to play in the competition until 2002, when they were replaced by [AIS Canberra Darters](/source/AIS_Canberra_Darters).

Between 1997 and 2002, Adelaide Ravens played in the [Commonwealth Bank Trophy](/source/Commonwealth_Bank_Trophy) league. Together with [Adelaide Thunderbirds](/source/Adelaide_Thunderbirds), [Melbourne Kestrels](/source/Melbourne_Kestrels), [Melbourne Phoenix](/source/Melbourne_Phoenix), [Perth Orioles](/source/Perth_Orioles), [Queensland Firebirds](/source/Queensland_Firebirds), [Sydney Sandpipers](/source/Sydney_Sandpipers) and [Sydney Swifts](/source/Sydney_Swifts), Ravens were one of the founding members of the league. The majority of the teams were named after [native Australian birds](/source/List_of_birds_of_Australia). Ravens were named after the [Australian raven](/source/Australian_raven). In 1999, with a team coached by [Patricia Mickan](/source/Patricia_Mickan) and featuring [Megan Anderson](/source/Megan_Anderson_(netball)) and [Michelle den Dekker](/source/Michelle_den_Dekker), Ravens finished the season as overall runners up. After finishing fourth during the regular season, Ravens defeated Kestrels 61–53 in the minor semi-final and Swifts 56–54 in the preliminary final.
