== Career ==
Dennis was born in [Toronto](/source/Toronto), [Ontario](/source/Ontario), Canada. He played junior hockey in the [Ontario Hockey League](/source/Ontario_Hockey_League). He was acquired by the [London Knights](/source/London_Knights) from the [Guelph Storm](/source/Guelph_Storm) on January 10, 2005, in exchange for goalie [Ryan MacDonald](/source/Ryan_MacDonald_(ice_hockey)) and 3 draft picks.

He was drafted by the [Buffalo Sabres](/source/Buffalo_Sabres) of the [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League) in the sixth round, #182 overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
