**Adam Cockshell** (born 19 August 1986) is a former professional [Australian rules footballer](/source/Australian_rules_football) who played for the [Port Adelaide Football Club](/source/Port_Adelaide_Football_Club) in the [Australian Football League](/source/Australian_Football_League) (AFL). He was recruited from [South Australian National Football League](/source/South_Australian_National_Football_League) (SANFL) club [Norwood](/source/Norwood_Football_Club).

Cockshell played two games for Port Adelaide in [2007](/source/2007_AFL_season) before being delisted at the end of the [2008 AFL season](/source/2008_AFL_season).[1] He then moved to SANFL club [South Adelaide](/source/South_Adelaide_Football_Club), playing his 100th SANFL game in South's 22-point win over his former club Norwood in round 23 of the [2011 SANFL season](/source/2011_SANFL_season). In 2012 Cockshell moved back to Port Adelaide to play for their SANFL side.

In 2021, Cockshell was convicted of [deception](/source/Deception) offences and was given a suspended jail sentence.[2]
