'''Acrotheloidea''' is an extinct superfamily of [discinid](/source/Discinida) [brachiopod](/source/brachiopod)s, that lived from the [Early Cambrian](/source/Cambrian) to [Early Ordovician](/source/Early_Ordovician) periods, c. 538 – 471 [Ma](/source/Million_years_ago). They are sometimes alternatively ascribed to the [lingulids](/source/Lingulida).

There is evidence for an evolutionary transition through the genera ''Eoobolus'', ''Pustulobolus'', and ''Bostfordia'' to the [Acrotretids](/source/Acrotretida).<ref>{{cite journal |last1=Boyce |first1=W.
