Abbot Pass has a stone [hut](/source/Abbot_Pass_hut), built in 1922 by Swiss guides working for the [Canadian Pacific Railway](/source/Canadian_Pacific_Railway), and was maintained by the [Alpine Club of Canada](/source/Alpine_Club_of_Canada).
