***A Precocious Girl*** (German title: ***Csibi, der Fratz*** aka ***Früchtchen***) is a 1934 Austrian [comedy film](/source/Comedy_film) directed by [Max Neufeld](/source/Max_Neufeld) and [Richard Eichberg](/source/Richard_Eichberg) and starring [Franciska Gaal](/source/Franciska_Gaal), [Leopoldine Konstantin](/source/Leopoldine_Konstantin) and [Herbert Hübner](/source/Herbert_H%C3%BCbner). The film's sets were designed by [art director](/source/Art_director) [Julius von Borsody](/source/Julius_von_Borsody).

The film was made by the German subsidiary of [Universal Pictures](/source/Universal_Pictures). Because of the Nazi rise to power Gaal and other Jewish filmmakers went to Austria and Hungary to work on a series of comedy films.[1] A separate Italian version of the story *[Unripe Fruit](/source/Unripe_Fruit)* was released the same year.

It was remade in [Hollywood](/source/Hollywood_(film_industry)) in 1942 as *[Between Us Girls](/source/Between_Us_Girls)*, with the setting moved to America.
