The magazine is printed in [Iceland](/source/Iceland) by Oddi.<ref>{{cite magazine|title=Staffbox|date=September 2012|magazine=ARC Magazine}}</ref> The magazine was founded in 2011 by Nadia Huggins and [Holly Bynoe](/source/Holly_Bynoe), both visual artists from [St. Vincent and the Grenadines](/source/St._Vincent_and_the_Grenadines). Bynoe earned her MFA in Advanced Photographic Studies from [Bard College](/source/Bard_College) in [Annandale-on-Hudson, New York](/source/Annandale-on-Hudson%2C_New_York).
