**A.O. Poros F.C.**, short for **Athlitikos Omilos Porou** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Αθλητικός Όμιλος Πόρου, translated *Athletic Club of Poros*) and also known simply as **Poros**, is a [Greek](/source/Greece) [football](/source/Football_(soccer)) club, based in the *Póros* urban area in [Heraklion](/source/Heraklion), [Crete](/source/Crete). The club was founded in 2012.[1] They currently compete in the [Gamma Ethniki](/source/Gamma_Ethniki), the third tier of the [Greek football league system](/source/Greek_football_league_system), and host their home games in the [Nikos Kazantzakis Stadium](/source/Nikos_Kazantzakis_Stadium), known also as “Martinengo Stadium”.[1]
