It competed in the [Second](/source/Cypriot_Second_Division), [Third](/source/Cypriot_Third_Division), and [Fourth](/source/Cypriot_Fourth_Division) divisions of the [Cypriot football league system](/source/Cypriot_football_league_system).

After the [Turkish invasion of Cyprus](/source/Turkish_invasion_of_Cyprus) and occupation of the city of Morphou in 1974, the team was displaced to the southern part of the island in [Limassol](/source/Limassol). The team dissolved in 1991 due to financial problems.
