**ABC Supply Co., Inc**. is a major, [private](/source/Privately_held_company) American [roofing](/source/Roofing_material) [supply](/source/Supply_chain) company based in [Beloit, Wisconsin](/source/Beloit%2C_Wisconsin). It also sells [windows](/source/Window), [gutters](/source/Rain_gutter), and [siding](/source/Siding_(construction)) for residential and commercial buildings and is the largest roofing and [vinyl siding](/source/Vinyl_siding) [wholesale](/source/Wholesale) [distributor](/source/Distribution_(business)) in the United States.[3]

## History

The company was founded in 1982 by [Ken Hendricks](/source/Ken_Hendricks) and [Diane Hendricks](/source/Diane_Hendricks).[4] It grew from a single store in Wisconsin to having over 700 branches in 49 states nationwide and sales of over 11 billion dollars.

ABC Supply has expanded from its original business.[5] In early 2010, the company acquired Bradco Supply, its largest acquisition to date.[6]

Annual sales topped $5.9 billion in 2015,[7] placing it 63rd on *Forbes* list of largest private companies in the United States.[7][8]

Following the [accidental death](/source/Falling_(accident)) of Ken Hendricks on December 21, 2007, company president David Luck was named CEO. Luck retired on December 31, 2013, and was replaced by Keith Rozolis.[9][10]

In May 2020, one of the company's property locations was among those damaged by [arson](/source/List_of_arson_damage_during_the_George_Floyd_protests_in_Minneapolis%E2%80%93Saint_Paul) during the [George Floyd protests in Minneapolis–Saint Paul](/source/George_Floyd_protests_in_Minneapolis%E2%80%93Saint_Paul).[11]
