The **2025 [Miami Open](/source/Miami_Open_(tennis))** was a professional [hardcourt](/source/Hardcourt) [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played from March 18 to March 30, 2025, on the grounds of [Hard Rock Stadium](/source/Hard_Rock_Stadium) in [Miami Gardens, Florida](/source/Miami_Gardens%2C_Florida). It was the 40th edition of the combined men's and women's event and was classified as an [ATP Masters 1000](/source/ATP_Tour_Masters_1000) event on the [2025 ATP Tour](/source/2025_ATP_Tour) and a [WTA 1000](/source/WTA_1000_tournaments) event on the [2025 WTA Tour](/source/2025_WTA_Tour).[1][2]

[Jannik Sinner](/source/Jannik_Sinner) and [Danielle Collins](/source/Danielle_Collins) were the reigning champions in the men's and women's singles draw, respectively. Sinner was not able to defend his title as he was serving a suspension following two positive doping tests at the [2024 Indian Wells Open](/source/2024_BNP_Paribas_Open),[3] and Collins lost in the fourth round to [Aryna Sabalenka](/source/Aryna_Sabalenka).
