It was the 40th edition of the combined men's and women's event and was classified as an [ATP Masters 1000](/source/ATP_Tour_Masters_1000) event on the [2025 ATP Tour](/source/2025_ATP_Tour) and a [WTA 1000](/source/WTA_1000_tournaments) event on the [2025 WTA Tour](/source/2025_WTA_Tour).[1][2] [Jannik Sinner](/source/Jannik_Sinner) and [Danielle Collins](/source/Danielle_Collins) were the reigning champions in the men's and women's singles draw, respectively.
