The **2022 Swedish Open**, also known as **Nordea Open**, for sponsorship reasons, was a professional [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on outdoor [clay courts](/source/Clay_court) as part of the ATP Tour 250 Series of the [2022 ATP Tour](/source/2022_ATP_Tour)[1] and as part of the [WTA 125 tournaments](/source/2022_WTA_125_tournaments).[2] It took place in [Båstad](/source/B%C3%A5stad), Sweden, from 4 through 9 July 2022 for the women's tournament, and from 11 through 17 July 2022 for the men's tournament.[3] It was the 74th edition of the event for the men and the 12th edition for the women.
