The **2022 Astana Open** was a professional men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament to be held on indoor [hard courts](/source/Hard_court). It was the third edition of the [Astana Open](/source/Astana_Open) and part of the [ATP Tour 500 Series](/source/ATP_Tour_500) of the [2022 ATP Tour](/source/2022_ATP_Tour).

The event was held on a third consecutive year in the alternative sporting calendar, but it was upgraded to the ATP 500 level following the cancellation of tournaments in China in 2022 because of the ongoing [COVID-19 pandemic](/source/COVID-19_pandemic).[1] The tournament took place in [Astana](/source/Astana), [Kazakhstan](/source/Kazakhstan), from 3–9 October.[2] The women's event was discontinued this year.
