The **2020 Jordanian Pro League** (known as the **Al-Manaseer Jordanian Pro League**, named after Ziad AL-Manaseer Companies Group for sponsorship reasons) was the 68th season of [Jordanian Pro League](/source/Jordanian_Pro_League) since its inception in 1944. The season started on 5 March, but was put on hold due to [COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Jordan) then finished in 2021.

[Al-Faisaly](/source/Al-Faisaly_SC_(Amman)) are the defending champions of the [2018–19 season](/source/2018%E2%80%9319_Jordan_League). [Ma'an](/source/FC_Ma'an) and [Sahab](/source/Sahab_SC) joined as the promoted clubs from the [2019 Jordan League Division 1](/source/2019_Jordan_League_Division_1). They replaced [Al-Baqa'a](/source/Al-Baqa'a_Club) and [That Ras](/source/That_Ras_Club) who were relegated to the [2020 Jordan League Division 1](/source/2020_Jordan_League_Division_1).

## Teams

Twelve teams will compete in the league – the top ten teams from the [2018–19 season](/source/2018%E2%80%9319_Jordan_League) and the two teams promoted from the [2019 Division 1](/source/2019_Jordan_League_Division_1).

**Teams promoted to the 2020 Premier League**

[Sahab](/source/Sahab_SC) and [Ma'an](/source/FC_Ma'an) Both promoted, following [Sahab](/source/Sahab_SC) 1–0 defeat against [Ma'an](/source/FC_Ma'an) on 29 April 2019 before the last day of the regular season. Ma'an playing in the [Premier League](/source/Jordan_Premier_League) for the first time in their history.[1]

**Teams relegated to the 2020 Division 1**

The first team to be relegated was [Al-Baqa'a](/source/Al-Baqa'a_Club), following their 1–2 defeat against [Al-Ahli](/source/Al-Ahli_SC_(Amman)) on 9 May 2019, ending their 18-years stay in the top flight.[2]

The second team to be relegated was [That Ras](/source/That_Ras_Club), ending their 7-years stay in the top flight.[3]

- **[^](#ref_Note_JOR_1)** **Jordan (JOR):** Due to the [COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Jordan), the 2020 [Jordan FA Cup](/source/Jordan_FA_Cup) was cancelled and not organized by the [Jordan Football Association](/source/Jordan_Football_Association). The teams from Jordan playing in the 2021 AFC Cup were determined only by the results of the 2020 Jordanian Pro League. [Al-Jazeera](/source/Al-Jazeera_Club_(Jordan)) and [Al-Ramtha](/source/Al-Ramtha_SC), the 2020 Jordanian Pro League runners-up and third place, were not granted an AFC Cup license. As a result, [Al-Salt](/source/Al-Salt_SC) and [Al-Faisaly](/source/Al-Faisaly_SC_(Amman)), the second and third best teams granted an AFC Cup license (2020 Jordanian Pro League fourth place and fifth place), qualified for the 2021 AFC Cup.[4][5]
