The **2017 [World Archery Championships](/source/World_Archery_Championships)** was the 49th edition of the event. It was held in [Mexico City](/source/Mexico_City), [Mexico](/source/Mexico) from 15 to 22 October 2017 and was organised by [World Archery Federation](/source/World_Archery_Federation) (formerly known as FITA). Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the [Campo Marte](/source/Campo_Marte). The competition was preceded by the [World Archery Federation](/source/World_Archery_Federation) Congress on 13–14 October.

The programme featured was the same as previous World Championships, with individual, team, and mixed team events in the [compound](/source/Compound_bow) and [recurve](/source/Recurve_bow) disciplines.
