The **2017 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational** was a professional [golf](/source/Golf) tournament held August 3–6 on the South Course of [Firestone Country Club](/source/Firestone_Country_Club) in [Akron, Ohio](/source/Akron%2C_Ohio). It was the 19th [WGC-Bridgestone Invitational](/source/WGC-Bridgestone_Invitational) tournament, and the third of the [World Golf Championships](/source/World_Golf_Championships) events in 2017.

[Hideki Matsuyama](/source/Hideki_Matsuyama) won the tournament.[1][2]
