The **2017 [European Curling Championships](/source/European_Curling_Championships)** was held from November 17 to 25 in [St Gallen](/source/St_Gallen), [Switzerland](/source/Switzerland).[1] The Group C competitions was held in May in [Andorra](/source/Andorra).

At the conclusion of the championships, the top eight women's teams will go to the [2018 Ford World Women's Curling Championship](/source/2018_Ford_World_Women's_Curling_Championship) in [North Bay](/source/North_Bay%2C_Ontario), [Ontario](/source/Ontario), and the top eight men's teams will go to the [2018 World Men's Curling Championship](/source/2018_World_Men's_Curling_Championship) in [Las Vegas](/source/Las_Vegas), [United States](/source/Nevada).
