The **2016 Pakistan Cup** was a five-team [limited overs](/source/Limited_overs_cricket) (one-day) [cricket](/source/Cricket) tournament that took place in [Faisalabad](/source/Faisalabad), [Punjab](/source/Punjab%2C_Pakistan), from 19 April to 1 May 2016. It was contested by teams representing Pakistan's four provinces and the capital. Squads for the tournament were selected based on a [draft](/source/Draft_(sports)) system.[1]

[Sarfraz Ahmed](/source/Sarfraz_Ahmed), [Shoaib Malik](/source/Shoaib_Malik), [Younis Khan](/source/Younis_Khan), [Azhar Ali](/source/Azhar_Ali) and [Misbah-Ul-Haq](/source/Misbah-Ul-Haq) led the sides from [Sindh](/source/Sindh), [Punjab](/source/Punjab%2C_Pakistan), [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa](/source/Khyber_Pakhtunkhwa), [Balochistan](/source/Balochistan) and [Islamabad](/source/Islamabad). [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa](/source/Khyber_Pakhtunkhwa_cricket_team) won the tournament after defeating [Punjab](/source/Punjab_cricket_team_(Pakistan)) in the final by 151 runs.[2]

## Squads

The teams were selected by the captain and the coach through a [draft](/source/Draft_(sports)) which consisted of 150 players. Each team was able to select a squad of 15 players.[3] The following players were selected in the draft:[4]
