The **2016 [Match des Champions](/source/Match_des_Champions_(basketball))** was the 11th edition of the annual [super cup](/source/Super_cup) game in French basketball.[1] This year the reigning [LNB Pro A](/source/LNB_Pro_A) champions [ASVEL](/source/ASVEL) faced off against [French Cup](/source/French_Basketball_Cup) champions [Le Mans](/source/Le_Mans_Sarthe_Basket).

ASVEL beat Le Mans 75–81. [Adrian Uter](/source/Adrian_Uter) was named the games [Most Valuable Player](/source/Most_Valuable_Player).[2]
