The **2016 [Boston Pizza Cup](/source/Boston_Pizza_Cup)** was held from February 10 to 14 at the [Encana Arena](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Encana_Arena&action=edit&redlink=1) in [Camrose](/source/Camrose%2C_Alberta), [Alberta](/source/Alberta). The winning [Kevin Koe](/source/Kevin_Koe) rink represented Alberta at the [2016 Tim Hortons Brier](/source/2016_Tim_Hortons_Brier) in [Ottawa](/source/Ottawa). Koe's rink went on to win the Brier, his third Brier championship as skip.

## Qualification process

Twelve teams qualified for the provincial tournament through several methods. The qualification process is as follows:
