The **2013 UEC European Track Championships** was the fourth edition of the elite [UEC European Track Championships](/source/UEC_European_Track_Championships) in [track cycling](/source/Track_cycling) and took place at the [Omnisport Arena](/source/Omnisport_Apeldoorn) in [Apeldoorn](/source/Apeldoorn), Netherlands, between 18 and 20 October. The Event was organised by the [European Cycling Union](/source/European_Cycling_Union).

All ten Olympic events, ([sprint](/source/Sprint_(cycling)), [team sprint](/source/Team_sprint), [keirin](/source/Keirin), [team pursuit](/source/Team_pursuit) and [omnium](/source/Omnium), for both men and women) and the non-Olympic men's [madison](/source/Madison_(cycling)) championship and points races for both genders were held as part of the championships.

A highly competitive championships, gold medals were share among five teams, and medals among ten teams, with Germany leading the medal table with three gold and three silver medals. Great Britain won the most medals with eight, three of them also gold, the same number as Russia. The host Netherlands also enjoyed a highly successful event, with two gold medals and six in all, by far their strongest showing at this level. Ireland also won its first ever medal at this level, a [bronze](/source/Bronze) in the men's omnium for world scratch race champion [Martyn Irvine](/source/Martyn_Irvine).

Individually [Laura Trott](/source/Laura_Kenny) of Great Britain, [Maximilian Levy](/source/Maximilian_Levy) of Germany and [Elia Viviani](/source/Elia_Viviani) each won two gold medals, while [Kristina Vogel](/source/Kristina_Vogel) won three medals, including gold in the women's sprint. Trott was also part of the Great Britain women's team pursuit quartet who twice lowered the [world record](/source/World_record) in their event.

The Dutch team won bronze in the [men's team pursuit](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2013_European_Track_Championships_%E2%80%93_Men%27s_team_pursuit&action=edit&redlink=1).
