The **2013 [Point Optical Curling Classic](/source/Point_Optical_Curling_Classic)** was held from September 27 to 30 at the [Nutana Curling Club](/source/Nutana_Curling_Club) in [Saskatoon](/source/Saskatoon), [Saskatchewan](/source/Saskatchewan) as part of the [2013–14 World Curling Tour](/source/2013%E2%80%9314_World_Curling_Tour). The event was held in a triple knockout format, and the purse for the event was [CAD](/source/Canadian_dollar)$50,000, of which the winner, [Jeff Stoughton](/source/Jeff_Stoughton), received CAD$12,000.[1] Stoughton defeated [Kevin Martin](/source/Kevin_Martin_(curler))'s team in the final with a score of 6–2. Martin's team was skipped by third Nedohin after Martin went out with a back injury, while [Jeff Sharp](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jeff_Sharp_(curler)&action=edit&redlink=1) subbed in as lead.[2]
