The **2012 [S.League](/source/S.League)** was the 17th season of the [S-League](/source/S-League), the top professional [football](/source/Association_football) league in [Singapore](/source/Singapore). It is known as the [Great Eastern](/source/Great_Eastern_Life)-[Yeo's](/source/Yeo_Hiap_Seng) S.League for sponsorship reasons.

## Teams

[Etoile FC](/source/Etoile_FC) withdrew their participation in the league to concentrate on grassroots football and youth development. [DPMM FC](/source/DPMM_FC) have re-entered the league, coming back since they were suspended by FIFA in the 2009 campaign. [Harimau Muda](/source/Harimau_Muda_A) of Malaysia have also entered the fray.[1]
