The **2011 S.League** was the 16th season of the [S.League](/source/S.League), the top professional [football](/source/Association_football) league in [Singapore](/source/Singapore). [Tampines Rovers FC](/source/Tampines_Rovers_FC) won their third title. As in the previous season the S.League was not allowed to send a team to the [AFC Champions League](/source/AFC_Champions_League) because of the participation of a foreign team in the league.[1]

## Teams

[Beijing Guoan Talent](/source/Beijing_Guoan_Talent) withdrew their participation in the league after just one season.[2] They were replaced by [Tanjong Pagar United](/source/Tanjong_Pagar_United_FC), who returned to the highest football league of Singapore after a seven-year absence. The club will be based at [Clementi Stadium](/source/Clementi_Stadium).

In further changes, *Sengkang Punggol* were renamed to [Hougang United](/source/Hougang_United_FC).[3] Moreover, [Home United](/source/Home_United) moved back to [Bishan Stadium](/source/Bishan_Stadium) after splitting their previous season home matches between Clementi Stadium and [Jalan Besar Stadium](/source/Jalan_Besar_Stadium).
