The **2011 Citi Open** was a women's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on outdoor [hard courts](/source/Hard_court). It was the 1st edition of the [Citi Open](/source/Citi_Open), and was a part of the [WTA International tournaments](/source/WTA_International_tournaments) of the [2011 WTA Tour](/source/2011_WTA_Tour). It took place at the [College Park, Maryland](/source/College_Park%2C_Maryland) in Washington, D.C., United States, from July 26 through July 31, 2011. [Nadia Petrova](/source/Nadia_Petrova) won the singles title.[1]
