It was the 16th edition of the [Chile Open](/source/Chile_Open_(tennis)), and was part of the [ATP World Tour 250 series](/source/ATP_World_Tour_250_series) of the [2010 ATP World Tour](/source/2010_ATP_World_Tour). It took place in [Chicureo](/source/Chicureo) at the [Santiago](/source/Santiago_Metropolitan_Region)'s commune of [Colina](/source/Colina%2C_Chile)[3] from 1 February through 7 February 2010. Third-seeded [Thomaz Bellucci](/source/Thomaz_Bellucci) won the singles title.
