It was the 104th edition of the event known that year as the [International German Open](/source/International_German_Open) and was part of the [ATP World Tour 500 series](/source/ATP_World_Tour_500_series) of the [2010 ATP World Tour](/source/2010_ATP_World_Tour). It took place at the [Am Rothenbaum](/source/Am_Rothenbaum) in [Hamburg](/source/Hamburg), Germany, from 19 July through 25 July 2010. Unseeded [Andrey Golubev](/source/Andrey_Golubev) won the singles title.[3]
