The **2008 Croke Cup** was the 57th staging of the [Croke Cup](/source/Dr_Croke_Cup) since its establishment by the [Gaelic Athletic Association](/source/Gaelic_Athletic_Association) in [1944](/source/1944_Croke_Cup). The competition ran from 23 March to 19 April 2008.

[De La Salle College Waterford](/source/De_La_Salle_College_Waterford) were the [defending champions](/source/2007_Croke_Cup).[1][2]

The [final](#Final), a replay, was played on 19 April 2008 at [Nowlan Park](/source/Nowlan_Park) in [Kilkenny](/source/Kilkenny), between De La Salle College Waterford and [Thurles CBS](/source/Thurles_CBS), in what was their first ever meeting in the final but their third meeting that season.[3] De La Salle College Waterford won the match by 2–09 to 2–08 to claim their second Croke Cup title overall and their second title in succession.[4][5][6]

Stephen Power was the [top scorer](#Top_scorers) with 2-22.
