The **2006 Copa Indonesia** was the second edition of *[Piala Indonesia](/source/Piala_Indonesia)*, the nationwide football cup tournament in [Indonesia](/source/Indonesia), involving clubs from [Premier Division](/source/Liga_Indonesia_Premier_Division), [First Division](/source/Liga_Indonesia_First_Division) and [Second Division](/source/Liga_Indonesia_Second_Division). The winner of the tournament qualified to play for [2007 AFC Champions League](/source/2007_AFC_Champions_League).

[Arema Malang](/source/Arema_Malang) became champions after a victory over [Persipura Jayapura](/source/Persipura_Jayapura) in the final match at [Gelora Delta Stadium](/source/Gelora_Delta_Stadium), [Sidoarjo](/source/Sidoarjo).[1]
