The **2005 ARAG World Team Cup** was a [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament play on [outdoor clay courts](/source/Clay_court). It was the 27th edition of the [World Team Cup](/source/World_Team_Cup), and was part of the [2005 ATP Tour](/source/2005_ATP_Tour). It took place at the Rochusclub in [Düsseldorf](/source/D%C3%BCsseldorf), [Germany](/source/Germany), from 15 May through 21 May 2005.

[Chile](/source/Chile) were the two time defending champions,[1] but they failed to advance beyond the group stage. [Germany](/source/Germany) won the title, defeating [Argentina](/source/Argentina) in the final, by two rubbers to one.[2]
