The **1996 Marbella Open** was a men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on the [outdoor clay courts](/source/Clay_court) at [Club de Tenis Puente Romano](/source/Club_de_Tenis_Puente_Romano) in [Marbella](/source/Marbella), Spain and was part of the [World Series](/source/ATP_International_Series) of the [1996 ATP Tour](/source/1996_ATP_Tour). It was the second edition of the tournament (after being held in [Valencia](/source/Valencia) the previous year) and was held from 30 September until 6 October 1996. Unseeded [Marc-Kevin Goellner](/source/Marc-Kevin_Goellner) won the singles title.[3]
