The **1996 Gerry Weber Open** was a men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on outdoor [grass courts](/source/Grass_court) at the [Gerry Weber Stadion](/source/Gerry_Weber_Stadion) in [Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia](/source/Halle%2C_North_Rhine-Westphalia) in Germany and was part of the [World Series](/source/ATP_International_Series) of the [1996 ATP Tour](/source/1996_ATP_Tour). It was the fourth edition of the tournament and was held from 17 June through 23 June 1996. Unseeded [Nicklas Kulti](/source/Nicklas_Kulti) won the singles title.[3]
