The **1996 European Community Championships** was a men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on indoor [carpet courts](/source/Carpet_court) at the [Sportpaleis Antwerp](/source/Sportpaleis_Antwerp) in [Antwerp](/source/Antwerp) in [Belgium](/source/Belgium) and was part of the [Championship Series](/source/ATP_International_Series_Gold) of the [1996 ATP Tour](/source/1996_ATP_Tour). The tournament ran from 19 February through 25 February 1996. Sixth-seeded [Michael Stich](/source/Michael_Stich) won the singles title.[3]
