The **1996 Estoril Open** was a men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on [outdoor clay courts](/source/Clay_court) at the Estoril Court Central in [Oeiras](/source/Oeiras_Municipality%2C_Portugal) in [Portugal](/source/Portugal) and was part of the [World Series](/source/ATP_International_Series) of the [1996 ATP Tour](/source/1996_ATP_Tour). It was the seventh edition of the tournament and was held from 8 April until 14 April 1996. [Thomas Muster](/source/Thomas_Muster) won his second consecutive the singles title at the event.[3]
