The **1996 Croatia Open** was a men's [tennis](/source/Tennis) tournament played on [outdoor clay courts](/source/Clay_court) at the [ITC Stella Maris](/source/ITC_Stella_Maris) in [Umag](/source/Umag) in [Croatia](/source/Croatia) and was part of the [World Series](/source/ATP_International_Series) of the [1996 ATP Tour](/source/1996_ATP_Tour). It was the seventh edition of the tournament and was held from 12 August through 18 August 1996. Fourth-seeded [Carlos Moyá](/source/Carlos_Moy%C3%A1) won the singles title.[3]
