It was the 26th edition of the [Stockholm Open](/source/Stockholm_Open) and was part of the [ATP Super 9](/source/ATP_Masters_Series) of the [1994 ATP Tour](/source/1994_ATP_Tour). It took place at the [Stockholm Globe Arena](/source/Stockholm_Globe_Arena) in [Stockholm](/source/Stockholm), Sweden, from 24 October until 31 October 1994. Sixth-seeded [Boris Becker](/source/Boris_Becker) won the singles title.

The singles draw was headlined by [world No. 1](/source/List_of_ATP_number_1_ranked_players) [Pete Sampras](/source/Pete_Sampras), [Goran Ivanišević](/source/Goran_Ivani%C5%A1evi%C4%87), and [Michael Stich](/source/Michael_Stich).
